Losing it all to fight again
In December 2010 Scott was on his second tour of Afghanistan on deployment with the Irish Guards when he stood on an IED and lost both legs. His arm was also badly injured and both his lungs had collapsed. He had previously served in Iraq and was due to go on leave in a week.
Since leaving the army he has been a supporter of a number of charities and shares his life with his fiancée Rachael and their son Alfie. He also volunteers for the Army Cadets and competed in the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto as part of the Men’s Wheelchair Basketball team, winning Bronze.
Scott will be sharing HIS amazing story, of losing everything, facing those fears but then finding what he was meant to do… helping others.
