Many letting agencies are now hiring or converting existing staff into being Business Development Managers, or BDM’s, this is due to the increased amounts and new style of leads being generated via valuation tools on websites, funnels, and online and social media marketing.
However, for many agents this function still sits with the existing staff; the Listers, Negotiators, or Lettings Managers.

For over 2 decades now, the only “hook” many staff memebrs have had in their inventory is the offering of a free valuation! Many of these staff members are just not skilled (due to a lack of training) in the art of converting the various types of leads that come into the average letting agency.
As a result, most Letting Agents are failing to optimise the results from their online valuation tools, their landlord compliance health check funnels, their investor landlord inquiries or their existing database, because they just don’t know how.
